PROCEDURE REQUEST PUBLIC AUTONOMOUS SYSTEM NUMBER
 
Autonomous System (AS) is a number of grup Address IP operated by one or more network which have same eksternal policy routing. Eksterior Routing Protocol used to transfer of routing information between AS Number.
AS needed if a network incircuit to more than 1 AS where have different Routing Policy. Most example often met is: network which incircuit to two upstream or more and or eXchange Point, peering with local network in Point eXchange.
A AS Public which have unique numbering (different) called as AS Number.
This number function at transfer of Eksterior Routing information ( between peer-AS) and as identity from AS itself.
Have 2 AS Number type, that are:

1. Public AS number
2. Private AS number

Public AS number needed if a AS Public needed when a AS will transfer of routing information with other AS which reside in Internet.
That is: all route coming from AS which visibel in Internet.
AS Number Private can be used when a AS will only conduct BGP with one Provider.
Because policy routing between the AS & mentioned provider will not seen in Internet, hence ASN Private can be used for this requirement.
IANA had Provide special range Private ASN can be used, that are:   AS64512 s/d AS65535
a. Enclosing Prefix IP address to will be announce.
b. There are requirement Multihoming / will connecting at least to 2 uplink.
c. ASN was requested which implementation in range of time 2 week after diapproved.

d. Send form which have been filled to hostmaster@apjii.or.id

c. If that customer set mind on shall no longger incircuit to that ISP, hence ASN have to be returned. For this matter, agreement there must be written with pertinent ISP.
a. When happened change of peer-ASN data, hence must be done updating to the data.
b. Use password MNT-BY your ISP in updating this database.

Hostmaster APJII will evaluate in specified period to usage of the resources.
If the resources shall no longger be used for the requirement of Multihoming including:

- For Private Peering
- Singlehoming
- Not be used at all.

Hence APJII hostmaster will do return to the resources if things above fufilled.
